I went to england and scotland in 2005 and the majority of these ancient coins came from a field around stone henge except for the two tokens and the british coin was from england. the big medallion came from an old abandoned cottage on the way to scotland and it was in a wooden box just bigger than the coin? the medallion is 2 3/4" across x 1/8" thick.

The coin with the hole is a Chinese cash coin and can be dated by the name of the emperor at the time it was minted.Had a jarfull back in the day snorkling the creeks of the motherlode gold country.There is a catalog for them and some are quite rare,especially one's magre of broze,I believe......Dave

I can see a Constantius II Centenionalis (Top Left)..and right under it is another Constantius II with a rather interesting reverse....maybe quite rare...can you get a close-up of that reverse? I may be interested if you are willing to part with it.... The Silver coin to the right that is clipped out of the picture is a Roman Antoninianus of either Phillip I or II. I see a barbarous radiate (ancient counterfeit AE antoninianus) of what looks like Claudius II. Also, there is an AE3 of Constantine II in there with a "GLORIA EXERCITVS" reverse..two soldiers flanking standards.

Just to finish the job done by others, the large coin dated 1826 is a English Penny. Had it been 1827 it would have been worth a small fortune.

I will repeat what a few have said, if you want the Roman coins fully identified, then post them 1 by 1. Gunner will finish the short descriptions he gave.

Thats one beautiful ww-1 Bronze medal. Dont know details of it, I just like the design! Its also signed by the designer. Look up his name.

I live in the UK & have Detected over 20 years & never found one. I have most Emperors now but that one. Its worth as much as someones willing to pay - $1 upwards. Gunner will give a fair price as he is the keenest collector on here.

Yeah, the Chinese coin is a 1 Cash coin. The characters tell you what era. This one is old, dated 1039!! These were minted and then used extensively throughout Asia, including Japan for a while. It's amazing to see that this was found in England though! Great find! Value? Something like $4 in its condition.

Due to its size & how worn it is, I would say its a Dupondius or As of about 1-2nd century. However the head looks kind of Republic (ie. 1st Century BC). To worn for me to indentify without spending hours on it. Try the others they are easier.

in the 3rd pic, the 2nd & 6th object are just trade tokens & the 5th is a George III penny, often called "a bullhead" penny.
