Unsigned art.

This is an outstanding ink and watercolor. It's 14 x 11, unfortunately it is unsigned, so not much monetary value. From the traps, huts, and water buffalo, I'd say it was done buy an extremely talented local in the Philippines. There is some foxing on the paper, I'd guess this was brought back in the late 60's or early 70's. We have a large population of retired USAF here. Just thought I'd share.

Have you considered taking it out of the frame, perhaps your signature is hidden. Seen that before more than once.

I did. I took it out to clean the glass, nothing written on the back either.

Man thats crazy, if this artist did not consider this good enough to sign.

It may have been unsigned because it was given to someone close. We were in the Philippines in the 60's and treated like family by so many.
