I dug one, but it must have been from a foreign volunteer. it was labeled 'Taiwan'

Don't know much info yet other than what's on the tag itself.
Anybody else dig one like this?
No Rob but I dug a rusty pair of pliers yesterday (thought it may be an iron bullet mold at first-LOL). Maybe we could go into business together. HH, Q.

Those were used for tightening your "nuts" during battle.

That's a good idea, Quindy .. Maybe we could do a TV show, too!

Last fall I found a craftsman 3/8 in. ratchet laying on top of the ground at a local park. It looks new and I still use it today.

That's odd because I just found my first name tag, similar to yours, but much more primitive looking, this past weekend here in NJ. It was much smaller and the soldier's name was "C. HINA"...I'm guessing Rev. War due to location. :dontknow: Will try and post a pic tonight!
