Hi all, it was a nice day yesterday even before a friend called and asked if I wanted to go detecting with him, and the day got even better. We hadn't been detecting for more than about an hour when Steve suddenly suggested going out on his boat for a trip around the islands. Up to this point I had found a roman coin, a silver bracelet and a few other bits and bobs, but I thought "What the heck, lets go". Here are a few pics of the short trip, I plan to go out again soon, very soon.

Just a quick note, most of the islands are MOD testing and proving grounds and also bird and wildlife sanctuaries
