Decided to clean and shine this coin that I found last week.

I contacted a coin collector in India who replied that the coin is 92% silver.

Here's a couple of pics;

If you look closely at the reverse, you will see India flowers on top and bottom, and on either side you will see 3 flowers: a rose, a shamrock, and a thistle.

thanks for looking

Lorraine

very nice coin Lorraine, turned out great all shined up

I just had a feeling that if you decided to shine it up
Lorraine, it would turn out beautifully.....and it did.
Well done. Gold Nuggets :hello:

Thanks , everyone.

The coin collector from India also said that in good condition, this coin is worth $30.00.

Make sure this value is up to date with silver price! A silver coin for $30 a year or two ago is easily a $60-$75 coin today.
