hey guys my stamp dilema is driving me crazy here is a small example of what im talking about these are packages of early 1800's japanese stamps the stamps in the pics are of "rare" Dragon stamps... there are over 40 packages and the prices on the packages that you see are from the late 1960's the prices on the the japanese stamp packages added up to over $30,000.00 in the late 60's....you will notice 2 stamps to each package thats because they are so rare that people counterfiet them so in each package my father-in-law placed an authentic stamp and a counterfiet stamp so he could show people the difference... I cant find anyone in my area who has any knowledge of these stamps and there appoximate value today...this is a small portion of his collection there are over 1,000,000 stamps from early american- many foriegn stamps he collected them from 1937-1976 when he just stopped...

Hello; I am a lifetime collector of stamps. The stamps you have will have to be examined by a specialist who is familiar with these early issues. I would reccomend Michael Rogers of Orlando Fla. He is a stamp dealer who has a specialized knowledge in stamps of Asia. His business is called Winter Park Stamp Shop, at 325 South Orlando Ave., Suite 14. Phone # 800-845-1819. I had a buddy of mine who had some stamp dealings with Mr. Rogers, and IMO I think my friend was treated very fairly in selling off some stamps he had acquired. I am not associated with this company in any way shape or form, just trying to give you a little help.
