UPDATED found metal ring need help where it may have come from

Found out my ring is a kool aid ring from the 1930's. Thanks to all who took the time to read my post and give there help. what a great place.

The Rosicrucian Manifest was published in 1614, so that might be a place to start. I think snakes and cups were symbols associated with them, but I'm not sure. I also believe that serveral later organizations adopted Rosicrucian symbols and mythology and incorporated them into their groups.
