Saw scoobasteve's post about that guy explaining CRHing. I searched the term coin roll hunting on youtube and was alarmed by all of the videos. Less than a year ago there were only 2. If you have a youtube account, please send them a message saying that they are shooting themselves in the foot.

These people are only shooting themselves in the foot by posting them. I would never post the video so some guy in my neighborhood gets the wrong idea. Soon the guy might be dumb enough to dump $1000 in pennies at one of my branches and they change their policy towards dumps.

I really do not think that anyone on youtube is going to come across one of these videos unless they are looking for it. If they are looking for it, they are already aware of CRH. I see it being no different than a forum like this where there are hundreds of posts all about it. All of the people that post here are doing the same thing by uploading pics and telling all about their finds. This is by no means an anonymous website where only a few people will be reading the content. The main point is this - While Youtube certainly has millions more viewers than any CRH forum, unless someone is looking for it and knows about CRH, a video on Youtube, is not going to turn someone on to it because they just stumbled on it.

I agree with your statements here. When I got started CRHing I went to YouTube and found some videos and besides being cool to watch I knew all of the information contained in them. Googling CRHing brought me to this forum which helped me get my start with the hobby.
