Found this in North Central PA. ...doesn't seem to have a back mark or makers mark, outside diameter is ever so slightly than a quarter (i always forget to bring my calipers), please help dating this for me.......thanks!!!

Yeah I hear ya....not sure what the problem is....probably my lack of any sort of signal....I uploaded them twice from my phone. .....I will resend tomorrow from a wifi ...sorry.

Of course this is just an "educated guess," due to having no photos at the moment:
Based on your description that it is a circular brass object saying US 164, and that it is slightly larger than a quarter... it sounds like a US Army 164th Regiment collar-insignia disc, dating from 1937 to 1945.

Well-focused closeup photos of the object's front and back will show if that ID and time-period is correct.

Thanks for the well-focused closeup photos. They show your US Army collar-disc insignia has a dotted background, which you did not mention in your previous post. That is important information for time-dating it. Now seeing that your disc saying US 164 has a background showing a diagonal-rows-of-dots pattern, I can tell you that it dates from 1919 to early-1926, based on the info at:
