US Coin Reference Materials

I'm looking for a book on US coins. Would just like to know general information on what dates to keep etc..
I was wondering what everyone else uses. Would be grateful for suggestions.

The Red book by R.S.Yeoman is pretty much the standard. You can find it at any bookstore. Maybe even pick up a 2013 edition for like half price.

Try "cherry pickers guide to rare die variations of United States coins". That title may not be word for word, but is probably close enough for a google, eBay, or amazon search. Was told it was a really good book for identifying coins worth looking for.......error coins, low mintage, rare die varieties, ect. Happy huntin'
