Hello, I found this on the beach on the St-laurence River yesterday about 20 miles east of Quebec city. Does anyone have a clue of what it could be? I found many iron nails at the same spot that I've been told were Muntz metal nails used for ships and docks sent from Britain in the 1830's.... Any tips would be gladly appreciated..... Many thanks!

Oups, sorry, I'm kind of new to this... The long part is 24.5 inches long and the short one 10 inches.... Thanks for helping out!

Cuda,

It's funny, I found myself looking at the scratches on the rock trying to determine if they're petroglyphs.

Post a couple close-ups with something for scale on the "What is it?" forum. You'll probably get a very quick ID.
Sorry, that's all you'll get from me as I don't have a clue.

Windshield wiper arm.
