using ATP with ATMax headphones??

That's an interesting question. Kinda like my question about using just the receiver with the Max.

Unfortunately, the answer to both of those questions, for now, is "I don't know."

My hunch is that they probably will, because it would give Garrett two additional SKUs (selling each half of the z-lync setup by itself), which of course means more ways for them to make money off people.

I imagine if the transmitting frequency of the z link matches the receiving frequency of the headphones they should work. But I would call Garrett to be sure.

I think the release video said the difference is they built the z link into the control box instead of an external mount. Well you got me curious too now.

Which is exactly what I just did. Unfortunately, neither of the two woman I spoke with had any idea what I was talking about, and the gentleman who would, was on another call. I'll try again later.

I called Garrett and they will be selling all the Z link and z link equipped headphones separately as well as
in kits--cables, transmitters , receivers, phones--soon//
