Down around Moab. Great country, made famous in John Wayne movies. I like the idea of camping in a country where it might be 20 miles to the nearest drinkable water, too.

Hello RGINN, Beautiful Pictures :icon_thumleft: I bet the stars are unbelievable at night :sign13: Can you camp anywhere out there or is there only certain places? Thanks! Paul :coffee2:

Beautiful country, i'll bet you enjoyed this trip.

Fossis.............

Absolutely beautiful. It is truly lonesome land. Love it!

Pretty much you camp in only areas designated for camping, pganjon. They have a lot of campgrounds though. The first two nights we spent over at Horsethief State Park; there's no water or electric. The next two nights we went up SR 128 which follows the Colorado River from Moab up to I-70. There's several campgrounds there. No drinking water and very little that passes for a shade tree. I lucked out and found good shade everywhere I camped though, and I always carry plenty of water. All the campgrounds in the area completed filled up and had people still tryin to get in Saturday morning.

From all those beautiful pictures you've posted over the years here, you could make alot of nice calenders out of them. :icon_sunny:
