Sunday night, the girlfreind, and I loaded up, and went to the Trinity River with my UV Light...I guess I did not know what I was doing as I found nothing good....One Bone found without the light...It seems as tho my unit does not produce much output....Anyone hunted with UV??? Thanks Tom

Some fossils flouresce, some don't. I understand the ones that do flouresce, do so brightest in UVA (long-wave). Do you have reason to believe that Trinity River bones flouresce?

No, I was really looking for teeth....I have never did any river hunting before...I have collected many fossils from the Texas Hill Country, in dry Creek Beds, and on flat land...I really want to do some river collecting, but I do not know anything about it..I'm hoping someone will show me the ropes so to speak..I was told by my cousin that he has found teeth, and arrowheads in that area, but he was in a boat, and could get to sand bars..We just walked along the sandy beach area...It was still fun...I will look into a UVA light..I am using a Avon Derma Spec light I modified to run on 2 6 volt lantern battery's....Thanks for the picture, and the reply....Tom
