V Nickel Headlines a Couple Slower Hunts +150 Wheats For The Year

Hey folks!

Heading to California for work travel today so no detecting for me this weekend. Got out some on Thursday and Friday afternoons however to feed the addiction.

My silver streak came to an end but I’m still glad to have gotten out.

Here are the highlights:










Best find was Thursday when I got the beat to tar 1901 V Nickel. Other highlights include a 1938 KG VI Canadian penny, 14 wheats (oldest are 29-S and 30-S) and an old toy car. Those wheats put me at 153 on the year. Pretty crazy!Also got a few older looking buttons and doodads.
