Does anybody know if you can still send your V3 to Whites and still get the V3i upgrade ? Thanks for your help.

Yes you can. If your unit was bought after Nov 1st 2009 the upgrade is $25.00 just for the shipping. Prior to that date is $124.95 Go to White's website and call them, they will give you various places to send your unit closet to your home. Happy Hunting
