Found this today looks like VA 25 in Alberts but backmark says Extra Quality. Is this post war? Can find no information on VA 25 anywhere most books dont go any highter then VA 23. Who would have worn this post war? Veterins?

No actually the "Extra Quality" backmark assuredly puts it at Civil War era or earlier! So that's good news for you! This was probably a button made for the Virginia Militia before the war and then probably also used during the Civil War. Great find bud!~
