ok so on my property in va just outside of southill I found some black sand in my creek but haven't been able to find heavy amounts or gold. What should I look for to find the heavier amounts? Also to any1 that has md before. I have a old cabin on my property I tried taking my md around it but all I find is old metal cans and stuff that are rotted out. Is there any way I can not pick up the metal and just pick up the valuable stuff on the detector? I am very new to this and any help will be greatly appreciated.
