Vacant lot gives a silver gift= Barber Quarter!!!

Been having great luck on some Vacant lots, I have been detecting this lot for over a year. Just recently they are using it as a dirt dumping area the last month or so, so basically new searching dirt every week, last week I pulled a nice 1912 Barber dime and this week she gave me a 1908 Barber Quarter. One of the only good finds this week other than a oddly shaped wheat cent, a 1957 coin from Mexico and some silver plated thingy. But high hopes for next week, hope my good luck continues. HH.

Ray Ray , any chance you can intercept one of the dump truck drivers and ask him/her where they're grabbing the dirt from ? Nice find on
that Barber quarter ! any silver quarter is a good solid find these days !!!

Always show up after the dumping, but there is so much construction going on downtown here it could be from anywhere?

Looks to me like there dumpimg the piles for almost a quick holding area,than there picking it back up which seems to spread the new soil around the lot. I always scan the piles every week I am there and than there are new piles the next week when I show up, looks like a combination of home tearouts with yard dirt and road construction dirt.
