Had a great time Wisconsin finding some old items. First, got a 1901 Indian head in a triangular strip of grass by a road. Then I went up north to visit my in- laws and did good in an old park. It started with the 1897 IH, the next day I pulled a 1891 and a 1893 out of the same hole. The last visit to the park, I found a brass lock with the keys still attached. Notice the patent date on the lock. The 1941 merc and the piece of sterling spoon also came from there. The old clip came from an old town (first land grant in 1793). I was working an old house built in 1837 when I found it and also the strange spoon like item that's a mystery. I think it might have been part of some Indian trade jewelry. Something was soldered to it at one time. Thanks for looking!

Very nice finds . . . love the Indian silver piece. I wonder what the I X L stand for, possibly .900? I always wonder why someone would lock the keys onto the lock, how the heck would get it open later!? ??? Great pictures too. :icon_thumright:

I think your spoon item is part of a fishing lure.I.X.L. was a knife Co.in the 1850's??Your last item is a suspender buckle,1850's-
