Got out early this morning at a local ball field with forum member PLAZZ58, to continue getting a handle on the Vanquish 540. The machine, so far, has really impressed me on the saltwater beaches of Long Island, the deep woods here in Westchester, New York, and now on a sports field. I can't wait to get into a farm field upstate with Frank (Fmerg)! So I am beginning to understand the numbers and tones much better, and was able to identify pull tabs and screw tops this morning very accurately. Anthony is using the Equinox 600, which is brand new to him, and he is still learning to set it up. He called me when he got home, and did a quick hunt in his back yard. He found a really cool piece of jewelry, that I hope he posts. Anyway, thanks for looking!

So after getting home and cleaning everything up, I got a 1956, and 1944 Wheat penny; a 1943 War Nickel, and a plated spoon. $1.40 in change and a great time with a friend!:headbang:
