Vertebral Column

A friend of mine found this in central Texas and asked me if I could help confirm it being a Spinal Vertebrae. It being heavily arrowed I’m having a difficult time confirming its identity. I can see what looks to be a spinous process and transverse processes as well as an obvious vertebral foramen. What has me stumped is I don’t see a clear centrum or vertebra body. I’m a nurse who loves fossils so my expertise is limited when it comes to anything other than the human body. Can any one help me out?

Geofact. I see no symmetry to suggest a bilaterally-symmetrical vertebra. Nor do I see any hint of bone texture.

The hole through the bottom looks almost machine made. Is the object magnetic by any chance?
Can you flip the object over and post another pic--with something to show scale? Thanks,
