Very interesting spot

I walked about a mile into these wood along a river.
There is lots of history in this area, both colonial and CW (Virginia)
I didn't find anything, my hand shovel broke right away and I am not sure I am allowed to dig there anyway.

Neat looking spots there froggy, looks like u got some research for those initials, keep us informed how it turns out.

The only Important person with the initials RS that keeps coming up is Richard Stratford who was one of the original founders of Jamestown Virginia in 1603. Records show he lived here.
