Very strange nickel-- need help

So, I'm new to this CRH thing, it's definitely addictive. As I went through my first box of nickels, I found one that was very strange. The back of the nickel looks normal, but the front is just funky. I'm wondering if this is worthless, or something that may be worth something. thanks for all help in advance.

I was also thinking it looks like a grease strike. I have a similar one, yet mine isn't quite as severe as yours. Nice find.

Being an error, it can be worth some serious bucks. Go on ebay, type "Jefferson Nickel Error" into the search box, and see what you can find.
