Hello again,
I would like to get some info on a bottle if possible,
I have myself found atleast 5 bottle dumps, 3 back in lachute quebec, i have dug them many time and found some realy nice bottles, sold some on ebay, my favorite was one "ozone is life. Toronto". Anyways. I havent dug any recently unfortunatly. I do know a bit about dating them. This particular bottle was not dug though, it was a girft.
I would like some help getting info on it,
I think once i saw a ceramic version of the bottle.
Anyone ever seen one of these? Is it rare?

Looks like the seam ends at the middle of the neck

Thank you

The crown top, like the one your bottle has, was patented in 1892. I never find any in any trash pit before around 1900 though. I start seeing them in trash pits from around 1900-1910. I have never found a single one in a trash pit from the 1880's through late 1890's/1900, which produced around 70 complete bottles, and 6 buckets of broken bottles. I would guess yours is from around 1910, the bottle looks very similar the ones I find in a circa 1910 trash pit I dug.
