from Point Park atop Lookout Mountain. A good place to visit if you haven't. 20170221_145904.webp

That be interesting to see where exactly a cannon ball would land from that vantage point fired from up there. Love that old green patina on brass. Hope they never choose to clean it. Takes years to get that on old brass and copper.

I believe I am correct in saying they controlled the River Traffic, parts of Chattanooga as well as Wauhatchie which made it hard for the Union to supply Chattanooga.

Beautiful pic. from atop Look Out Mountain and the view of Chattanooga and the surrounding landscape.

Beautiful, great pic! I went to Lookout Mtn. when I was a kid but can't really remember it. I live pretty close to it now, it's on my places to visit since my move back to NW Ga.

Beautiful view.

I want to shoot the cannon, and see how far the ball goes.

I was checking my phone and found one I missed for those interested. God bless all and everyone have a wonderful day.20170221_145352.webp

Great view, Chattanooga definitively looks like a great place to live, beautiful plains and hills.

Thanks for the pictures.
I do believe a Day trip is 'Soon' in order.
