Vintage Cub Scout Jumbo Stamps Sheet (non USPS)

Hi folks,

I'm looking for info on these stamps: They are Cub Scout jumbo stamps, two sheets of them. I got them in the early 70's as a consolation prize in some Cub Scout contest.

The sheets have the following printed on them: "NO. 4643", "CUB SCOUTS", "JUMBO STAMPS", AND "25M973". I think the last is a date code.

In all my research, I've never uncovered any information on these. Any help at all would be very much appreciated.

p.s. The photo doesn't do these stamps justice. The lighting and the focus turned out a lot worse than I thought. They are really in excellent shape.

From the land of the Bluenose.....go to the library sir and get the Scott's Standard Stamp catoluge volume no#1 for 2007 and check it out. Good luck!
