Vintage fishing reel and artwork finds

Picked up a Abu Ambassadeur 6000 reel for $10 and a small 5x7 oil painting on canvas signed JM for $3. If anyone has info on the painting it would be appreciated, I cant find much info.

Nice, When I was younger (in the 90's) those fishing reels were tops. I always wanted one. Still perfectly serviceable, nice find.
