Vintage Football Helmet

Picked up this cool hard shell & leather football helmet today. Pretty sure it dates from the 1930's & is from a Shades Valley High School team in Birmingham, AL.

Nice score! Prices are all over the place from $50-$450. Yours might be on high end due to identification and style. Agree more info please. Price paid, store, etc.

It was at the local Goodwill & was priced very reasonably. Listed on eBay for $250 BIN with best offer.

When I saw that helmet, I had visions of Ronald Reagan playing "the Gipper" (George "The Gipper" Gipp of Notre Dame fame)!
