I am thinking Armistice Day Broach or 4th of July. Too bad a stone is missing otherwise the face is in good shape. The back on the other hand is a mess. Our soils can be rough on metals.

From Venice/Murano Italy. A lot of this stuff came back as souvenirs after WWII. :icon_thumright:

I'd date this to at least the early 20s due to where I dug it. Nothing from this spot has been younger than the mid-twenties and lots of pre 1900 items have been recovered. I recovered a gold gilded button that is being discussed right now from about six feet from this broach.
