I recently acquired this lamp from an old house it was full of dirt and spiderwebs, the metal workings are rusted out but surprisingly this glass is intact, 20191028_185426.webp20191028_185434.webp

Not sure of the date or,I have one simply to yours. Here's a photo of the one I have.1572348667151.webp

Sometimes the electric goes out and it's a great time to fire up your old lanterns and read a book.
I use olive oil in mine not kerosene. Smells really nice too.

Pretty lamp. Is the wick holder brass or iron. Pretty cruddy looking. A new one would set it off nicely. It could have the makers name and perhaps a date.

Pretty sure that it was iron since it was so rust encrusted I couldn't make out any name

Very nice never knew you could use olive oil
