Not sure how old this is, maybe later 60s early 70s?. It is mid size and set me back just over 8 bucks at a small town thift shop. Inside the it says Dainseikosha Japan R. That seems like an old way Seiko would brand their watches?. I recently saw an antiques roadshow episode I think it was and someone brought in a Japanese military Pilots wristwatch they said their Grandpa got in the Pacific during World War II lableled Seikosha. It was a really cool looking military timepiece and the appraiser put a big price tag on it. I've got me quite a little collection of Seiko wristwatches going on now. All found in a TS, some have pretty good value and others not so much.

It looks late 70s or early 80s to me. Wow great Seiko collection! One day I am going to find that grand seiko for three dollars.

Me too. When I was looking in the sales history of this one I came across one nice looking GS SS Black dial auto that went for $657.57 which doesn't seem all that bad to me. Maybe keeping an eye on eBay somebody may screw up and fail to mention the words Grand Seiko in the listing.

Not bad for 8 bucks. Congrats
