Virginia button. id help

OK I no it a Virginia Civil war button by scovills .. But can any one tell me more . I do not have a button book.

I have found what I believe to be your button in both Albert's and Tice's book. According to Tice (VA219) you button is fairly rare and made from 1840 thru 1850 and it should be silver plated. In Albert's book I think it is VA9. Darn nice button.
