Virginia button in a Union camp

I got out today to a u ion camp I've been hunting. I found the typical union relics but got a surprise when I popped out a Virginia button. That's the second time I've found a Confederate button in a Yanky camp. Both buttons were Virginia also. I guess they took them as souvenirs. Thanks for looking. HH Tim
