My wife and I are going to Michigan Labor Day weekend and was wondering about hunting the beaches there. We will be staying in Grand Rapids where her father lives. Also what are the rules to hunting parks. What I would like to know is where are some good beaches in the Grand Haven area or anywhere else nearby. What is the weather going to be like at that time and will the beaches be crowded? Any info would be of great help. We have visited there a few times but I have never taken my machine with me before. This time it is going with me and we are going to hit some parks on the way up.

TH, Its my understanding that the GR parks are off limits to md. Usually the weather holds out until after labor day, but its Michigan!
They say if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes, it will change.

Here are a couple of sites to help with water temp, wave height, etc.

Becareful of undertow, its alive and drowning folks every year!

Some state parks have designated hunting areas and some don't allow hunting at all.

If you go to my clubs website you'll find some more helpful links

Hope you have a great trip and find lots of treasure.
