Nice jug. The words "& Sons" were added to the Copeland mark around 1867, so that will be the earliest date. Before that, the mark was just "Copeland". Then from 1890 onwards the word "Spode" was added, both with and without the Copeland mark, so that will be the latest date.

These jugs were produced as transferware in large numbers in a variety of styles (note that yours has a rounded base, not the sloping straight wall base as in the links above), sometimes with gilding on the handle and/or spout, and occasionally with the Derby scene in colour rather than monochrome. Prices vary considerably, from about 30GBP (~$40) upwards, depending on how ornate they are.
