I’m sure many of you get to be out doing your thing year-round...my mine is at 12k feet and there is 4’ of snow - so I’m starting to get the itch pretty bad hehe :)

Headed out a week ago via snowmobile to get some powder time in and stopped by to snag a couple of samples I had set aside in a tree well. Did some cracking and thought I’d share a photo...

At least I’ll have some material to play with in the new furnace!

No snow here in Pueblo, but it's Pueblo.... so there is a poor trade. How do you like your gold bug 2? I was eyeing that one but started with a more basic (and cost affordable) machine to get the hang of detecting.

Absolutely love it...has been really good to me - I had gotten it on recommendation from others so can’t say I’ve had a ton of experience with other brands. Came with the small 6” coil and for where I’m at (Gunnison/Crested Butte) it has worked extremely well.

Give a holler if you need a hand come summer! Always wanted to try my hand, but never knew how/where to start hard rock...
