War Nickel Aftermath

I was hoping that my War Nickel & AU/BU dump wasn't an isolated event. Had 3 bags of cents to go through after. First bag yielded 15 Wheats (all after 40), 12 Canadian and 26 2009s. 2nd Bag was a bit better, 22 Wheats (1920), 10 Canadian, and 31 2009s. The last bag was the one I was hoping for though. Only 9 Canadians, but had 47 2009s, and 108(!) wheats! One from 1929-1958 with the exception of '43, including PDS from every year after 1940!

Only 23 more to go! 0 delusions of accomplishing that anytime soon, but who knows. Just though it was cool pulling all the wheats, been a while since I had a bag like that...

Unfortunately, no Indian Heads. Though, I guess the 55(!!!!) Proofs will have to make up for that one Every year from 59-2009 including all 4 09's and 2 1979 for some reason. I had found 10 in the previous 1,033,000 cents.


Not sure why, but love the 1959's.

So yeah, quite glad with that haul. Mixed emotions to some extent, as now I wish I had got some dimes or Quarters last week too. My bank ships their coins out, so doubt there's much chance of finding anything else from this dump this week, and my bank account currently won't allow for me to get too many bags. Guess I should be glad with what I got. Happy hunting everyone!

Also, REALLY glad this was the last bag I went through for cents. The first one was a bit underwhelming, 2nd was decent, but both would've been a let down had I sorted them after this one, so now I'm ending my cent week on a high note!
