I have been away from the internet for a couple of days. here are the results of some of the hunts.
I was fortunate enough to get to hunt with Smittyman, of TNet fame, last Wednesday. I got the usual clad, and junk.... however, I also found my first silver nickel. It was covered in black tarnish, and I could not tell what it was at first, then I could see Mr. Jefferson's outline, however, the coin had a little silver on it... and rang up nice and high... no nickel has ever come out of the ground looking or sounding like that. As you can see, I also dug some obligatory wheaties.
On Friday, Beez0404 came down for a little hunt, we hit several different places. I was able to dig a Merc, and some "toasted wheat". A good time was had by all... as Beez got a silver Rosie.
That is YTD silvers #13 and #14.
