I'm guessing you're a relative newbie, based on your comments. War nickels are cool, and hard to find, so great job there. Great find. I don’t have a lot of coins either. A 1902 v nickel and some wheats. Been to homesites where I was sure to find Indian heads, mercs, etc. only to leave with rusty horse tack lol. I’ll take it all.

Also, if not for your efforts, that significant coin in American history would possibly remain in the ground and not be seen by anyone. Congrats!

I been to an 1870 church and nothing older than 1960s coins, sometimes it’s just not there or already been found. But I have found a lot of other relics besides coins so it evens out
