War of 1861/McClellan token?

Just wondering if this is old/real and what it really is.
The back is blank except for denticles insid the rim,
just like the front has.It's about 1 1/8" Dia. and made
of some kind of white metal.

Your token, is a political token. McClellan was the Democratic nominee for president in 1864. The War of 1861, referred to on the token, is actually the beginning of the Civil War. It would run on until 1865. It's a nice token, and like most tokens from that time period, is holed so a cloth or string/strap could be run thru it so it could be pinned to a coat or collar. Based on other items for him from this time frame, your token is in the value range of $35 to $50. Nice find.
