I recently purchased a Garrett Pro Pointer on eBay. Paid $110. for it. It wasn't to far off retail price to alert me of an obvious fraud. Well guess what, it was. So buy from your local store or order from a business in the USA.

I use the bay daily for my small biz. Ya gotta watch um. But ebay will have your back and take care of you if you let them know what's going on.
Lots of fake pointers on there. Ya gotta watch🤘

EBay might have your back on the deal, but they really don't care about counterfeit merchandise. They get their ridiculous fees by selling them, so why do anything about it? I've reported a guy selling counterfeit 1969 Topps baseball cards for at least a year, but he's still selling them. He used to state they were reprints, then went to RP (for reprint) and now he doesn't even mention that the cards are fake and totally worthless. He's getting $9.99 each for cards that aren't even worth a penny. Not right, but eBay does nothing about the seller...
