Warranty void if removed?

Just got in my new NOX 800. It came with those stickers on it.

Here in the US, they passed a law that prohibits voiding a warranty just for opening the device.

Being a hacker, I subscribe to the notion you don't own it, if you can't open it.
Would like to poke around for the JTAG/ICSP pad/headers and other interesting goodies.

And on that note, new firmware, do I d/l it then u/l it to the unit? Or does the app do all that for me behind the scenes? Would like to binwalk the firmware.

The stickers on mine are in a place where they don't have to be removed or disturbed in any way if you wanted to take the machine apart. Seeing as they are indeed stickers, and on the outside of the unit, it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually come off, or become unreadable......especially with heavy surf use. It'll probably be out of warranty by that point anyway!
