It's feeding time again for Mr. PIG. Here is his fodder: Pic#1

I had thrown in a pin I had found in my FOD about 2 years ago. I had never really cleaned it because I just thought it was junk jewelry. Pic#2

Couple of weeks ago I noticed that there seemed to be some kind of mark on the back but was not too visible because of the crud. So I decided to mix it in the tumbler to see if it could be cleaned up enough for me to see it. Well it turned up to be not one but two marks. "Mexico" and "Silver" but with the "S" missing. I researched it and lo and behold seems the mark is legit and is from the 20's through the 40's and is most likely more than .925 silver. Woo Hoo!!!! Chalk one more up for my FOD!!! Here is my attempt pic on the marks. HH guys and gals, Carpe Diem!! Pic#3

Sweet hunt! :icon_thumleft: Breezie

Hey Amigo, that little Silver Horse would go nicely with my little Brass Duck Arturo gave me! LOL Nice save even if it is a few years later. Congrats on all the coins of the realm from your FOD, too. You may have gotten locked out of one field but you sure made up for it at the other field.

its always nice when junk turns out to be valuable! :p
