Was on my way home and noticed a bunch of old boxes on the side of the road. I stoped

So I got out to find a bunch of old boxes from someone cleaning out an old house. I grabbed a single box with some old man stuff in it and headed home.
Went through the box and pulled this out. I think I might have found something nice here. Please tell me about this...

go back and get some more boxes (!) - you can always throw it away later - keep watching that spot for more stuff- or perhaps catch someone there and offer to buy stuff/help toss stuff - I have done all of the above - when you see one thing like that - there is probably a lot more - if you are lucky they are cleaning out a paper/ephemera hoarder place - and - those can be just awesome(!)

Nice save! Congrats on your free $$ ! Ya keep an eye out you want to collect and go thru everything that looks like it's being tossed out. They obviously aren't checking too well & don't have a clue! Good for you!

Cool find however you have to remember like with any antique condition plays a big role in value . Yours will not be worth as much as one in better condition . I'd like to pick up "garbage" like that !

Thanks guys, Was a very nice save and it is going up for auction. I have gotten a few emails from actions and a tv show even asked about it.

That's the best part. You saved this baseball memorabilia from the landfill. It's a great find and it will make some New York Yankees fan very happy. That is an awesome photo of Gehrig and Ruth together!
