The rinkle on the outside of the mouth appears to have been caused by not enough glass for the tool used to make it smooth.

the indent on the lip is where the wire thats connected to the stopper fits, i have several old bottles like that, sometimes the stopper is ceramic, or it could be cork,,nice find
