Was wondering if anyone could tell me if this was a mint error ( pic included )

i know nothing about coins that are errors from the mint, but i saw this one and was wondering if any of you guys who specialize in this area could help me out.

Down buy Jefferson neck its kinda sliced and the back of the coin is smooth in the same place as the grooves ( however you can see the indents from the other side )

Any help would be appreciated ( is worth a nickel or a million dollars ) im hoping for the million dollars =P

Amen to that... Looks like it was scratched with a knife? I've never heard of any known errors for that year. And there's no such thing as a one of a kind coin. Even the 1933 St. Gaudens they found more of... lol It's spending money! You'll get em' next time.
