Found this 1895 Leopold II Belgian 10 Cents. They were issued from 1894 until 1898. Mintage was 736,000.

Unusual find! You just never know what's in the ground. Congrats.

Very interesting find. Congrats! I believe the text is actually in Dutch (not in French), one of the official languages of Belgium.

Very interesting coin from a very sly/evil dude. I read King Leopold’s ghost last year. So sad how many Congolese he had killed.
