Last week I bought a bag of jewelry at a GW because it had an Omega watch band. Nice enough band that made it worth my $40 price. Other bits of jewelry in the bag as well.

Then I bought another bag this week because it had an old watch I liked. It was a Swank Gran Sport 150. A decent watch. But when I looked closer, the band gave me pause. Why would someone put a fake Rolex band on the watch? Looking closer at the band, I’m now curious if it is actually a fake. It’s dated 1966 and stamped decently. I’m taking it to a jewelry store this weekend and maybe someone can tell if it’s real or not.
