Anybody have a idea on this watch key maker time frame etc.?

I thought it was a double key at first but I see the end is just broken. It's hard to tell the date. Most watch makers were getting away from key wind by the 1880's but the watches were still in use for many years. The watch companies usually didn't make there own keys.
